Our student Kübra Kara was nominated for the Outstanding Student Award in accordance with Article 10, Paragraph 3 of the Afyon Kocatepe University Award Directive, in recognition of her contributions to education, science, and culture throughout 2025.
Kara’s successful leadership as president of the Kocatepe Economic Thought Club for two years played a decisive role in the nomination process. During this period, she demonstrated strong leadership in guiding the club’s activities. Her active involvement in numerous events, including alumni gatherings, career events, conferences, and technical visits, made a significant contribution to the development of the faculty’s social and academic life. By successfully undertaking organizing, participating, and representative roles, Kara also set an example for her fellow students through her leadership.
