The Department of Economics organized an orientation program for first-year students at the beginning of the 2025–2026 academic year. The program took place on Monday, September 29, 2025, at 14:00 in the Prof. Dr. Sabri Bektöre Conference Hall. In addition to the department’s vice chairs, the university’s dietitian and psychologist also contributed to the program.
During the session, participants were informed on a wide range of topics including the academic structure of the department, course registration procedures, examination and grading systems, the Student Information System, academic advising services, and student exchange programs. Furthermore, presentations were delivered to raise awareness about substance abuse and student well-being.
